College Edition: Intense Basketball Games

 Today was an intense game with our rival team: ISU. 


I haven't been to a basketball game since my freshman year. Precovid Rivary Game with Illinois State. It felt nice seeing so many people filling up the stadium. It was almost like Covid didn't exist this whole time. Things are finally starting to feel normal!! Well... it's been feeling like normal. But you know when you have a full circle moment by remembering the last time something happened? Oh yeah... PRECOVID. 

Being the oldest in the friend group was a bit of a shock to here it was everyone's first basketball game. I kept saying "PLUCK THE BIRDS" and they would have no clue what I was talking about. I told them about the t-shirts we had, the posters we would make, and how much fun these games always are. 

After a crazy amount of cheering and booing, my friends and I were super into the game. We were yelling at the court as if we need all the rules and guidelines for a college basketball game. But hey it was fun. Bradley took a win and I made it my final college basketball game to witness as an undergrad. (Unless I get peer pressured to go again...) 


Oh for it to be a freshman witnessing my first college basketball game.
